Hi MANTA RAYS Parents,

Take two... My apologies, another swim meet in Feb. 2025 was added.  As a reminder, during the Parent meeting, we reviewed the schedule, as promised please find a pdf copy attached.  (V2) Please note, it is aligned with the Cobb County School System calendar. It outlines, normal practice times, special practice sessions and our Swim Meets. Our first swim meet is 10/19/2024.   Please be mindful your swimmer has to attend a minimum of 2 swim meets, during regular season, to participate in the Championship at the end of the season. However, the more practice they have at attending swim meets, the easier attending the Championship will be for both swimmers and parents. Your swimmers best times in their events, will be how they are placed in events/heats. Remember, Swim Meets are both an individual and team (points) competition. :) Relays have an opportunity for double points.

All meets are listed on the SwimTopia app. Please familiarize yourselves with the app. Please ensure your swimmers name and age group are listed correctly, as that information is used for signing up for swim meets this season.  Please let me know if there are any issues.  Finding a few MR Parents are not in Swim Topia.  I will be reminding the swimmers to ensure everyone is on the app.  

As a reminder, we will need Parent Volunteers, at both home and away swim meets, PLEASE. Those jobs will be posted at the same time the enrollment for the first meet opens, Sunday. This year we are closing swim meet enrollments on the Mondays prior to the meet date. For this first Swim meet; Opening starts on Sunday 6th and will close on Monday 14th. I will send out another email with instructions or recommendations for your swimmers events.
